Our boys performed well to dominate all three races on Saturday, September 17 at the difficult layout in Conyers. It was a great day to be a Brookwood Bronco!
Our varsity boys won the race with 39 points over defending champion Mill Creek. We were led by senior Don Presley, junior Carter Dehnke, junior Austin Dezwart, junior Charlie Thomas, sophomore Alex Thompson, senior Marshall Bray and senior Truitt Fowler. We placed 5 in the top 11 overall, and all 7 in the top 25. Our JV boys dominated both the JV Championship and the JV Open races. In the JV Championship race, we scored a meager 25 points and were led by senior Mason Bishop, who won the race convincingly. He was closely followed by senior James Wallace, a duo of freshmen in Alex Sotomayor and Grant Dehnke, and senior Trevor Spake. They were followed closely by junior Connor Hayes and freshman Chris Wilson. In the JV Open race, we scored 30 points for the win. Leading the way were Chris Cerwinka, Sage Brooks, Yafate Desta, Alex Ethridge and Eli Giguere. Follow this link for results. Follow this link for the Gwinnett Daily Post's coverage.
