Our boys team performed well at the state championship meet in Carrollton on November 9. We were led by an impressive 8th place finish from senior Alex Thompson. Following Alex were junior Alex Sotomayor Perez in 25th, freshman Isaac Dehnke in 37th, junior Mason James in 42nd, junior Spencer Fusillo in 78th, sophomore Luke Emmett in 82nd, and senior Blake Schroder in 93rd. We are so proud of all of our boys for what they have accomplished this season. We'll celebrate the season on Tuesday, November 19 at our end-of-season banquet. Rankings have been updated. At the Coach Wood Invitational, our boys team ran impressively in all three races. In the Championship Varsity race, we finished 8th in a loaded field. In the Championship JV race, we were 3rd behind a couple of deep teams. And in the Open Blue JV race, we were 4th. Lots of our guys set new season and career best times, as our JV ended their season on a great note. For the varsity, it's on to the post season, as the sectional meet is on November 2, and the state meet will be on November 9.

Our boys ran in three races on Saturday, August 24, and we took advantage of some unseasonably cool temperatures to bring home some hardware! In the Varsity Navy Race, our boys, despite racing without our #1 runner, finished 2nd to a very good team from Denmark. Leading the way for our Broncos was junior Alex Sotomayor-Perez, who finished 5th, and junior Mason James, who finished 11th. Luke Emmett, Blake Schroder, Isaac Dehnke and Sage Brooks also finished in the top 25 individually. In the Varsity Silver race, we finished 3rd as a team behind a top-25 finish from Talib Simpson. In the JV 3k Race, our boys finished 4th, and we were led by freshman Alex Higgins. Up next, our Broncos will race at the North Hall Invitational and the Carrollton Invitational on 9/5 and 9/7, respectively. Rankings have been updated.
