Our boys teams dominated the Region meet on 10/22. We won both JV and varsity by a clear margin.
In the varsity race, we were led by Charlie Thomas (2nd), Austin Dezwart (3rd), Don Presley (5th), Alex Thompson (7th) and Truitt Fowler (8th) to beat Parkview with a low score of 25 points. In the JV race, we had a perfect score of 15, led by individual champion Peyton Harley. He was followed closely by Mason Bishop (2nd), Andrew Bacon (3rd), Connor Hayes (4th) and Trevor Spake (5th). Our boys teams had some success racing in great conditions at the Coach Wood Invitational on Saturday, 10/15.
In the Championship Varsity race, we finished 4th overall, led by Charlie Thomas, Austin Dezwart, Alex Thompson and Truitt Fowler. In the Championship JV race, we were 3rd, led by Mason Bishop, Connor Hayes, Alex Sotomayor, and James Wallace. In the JV-Blue race, we finished 1st and were led by Christopher Cerwinka, Sage Brooks, Nick Connelly and Caleb Tsehaye. Our varsity boys finished 6th in a loaded championship field. Our second 7 won the 5A-7A varsity race, and our JV was second in their division.

As a replacement, we will compete at the Alexander / Asics Invitational in Fairburn, GA. Meet information has been posted on the Schedule page of our website. Our boys performed well to dominate all three races on Saturday, September 17 at the difficult layout in Conyers. It was a great day to be a Brookwood Bronco!
Our varsity boys won the race with 39 points over defending champion Mill Creek. We were led by senior Don Presley, junior Carter Dehnke, junior Austin Dezwart, junior Charlie Thomas, sophomore Alex Thompson, senior Marshall Bray and senior Truitt Fowler. We placed 5 in the top 11 overall, and all 7 in the top 25. Our JV boys dominated both the JV Championship and the JV Open races. In the JV Championship race, we scored a meager 25 points and were led by senior Mason Bishop, who won the race convincingly. He was closely followed by senior James Wallace, a duo of freshmen in Alex Sotomayor and Grant Dehnke, and senior Trevor Spake. They were followed closely by junior Connor Hayes and freshman Chris Wilson. In the JV Open race, we scored 30 points for the win. Our varsity boys were led by a runner-up finish by senior Don Presley, with a trio of teammates close behind (Carter Dehnke, Alex Thompson and Charlie Thomas who finished 3rd, 4th, and 5th) and we scored 21 points to Athens Academy's 69 points. Our JV boys won the 3k JV race in a tight battle with Jefferson High School. Leading the way was junior Ryan Thomsen, who finished 5th overall.
