Saturday, October 18th, 2008 – Gainesville College

 

*Boys in the Championship Race (8:40) or the JV-A Race (10:00) must meet the bus at the BHS field house at 6:30!

 

*Boys running in the Open Race (1:20) MUST meet the bus at the BHS field house at 10:30. All athletes may ride home with their parents.

 

Schedule:

6:30                 Bus leaves BHS field house for first two races

8:00                 Girls Championship Race

8:40                 Boys Championship Race (Anyan, Kalmbach, George, M. Sexton, Hewitt, Hitchens, Robinson, Pena, Brennan, Brooks)

9:20                 Girls JV-A Race

10:00               Boys JV-A Race (Kwak, Giuliano, Layman, Bond, Kazmer, Wearn, Forbes, Brown, Dominguez, Gomez)           

10:30               Bus leaves BHS field house for 1:20 race

10:40               Girls Varsity Race

11:20               Boys Varsity Race

12:00               Girls JV-B Race

12:40               Boys JV-B Race

1:20                 Open Boys and Girls Race (Everyone else!)

 

Awards Ceremony at 10:45 for the first 4 races.

 

Individual Awards:

Championship and JV Races-Top 25 in each race will receive medals (11-25 in the chute, 1-10 at the awards ceremony, 10:45).

Open-Top 10 Boys and Top 10 Girls

6th Man Award: In the case of a tie for any place in any of the scored races, the 6th runner that breaks the tie will win an additional award.

 

Team Awards:

Championship-Top 3 teams in each race.  1st place teams will also receive bags for their 10 runners.

JV-Top 3 teams in each JV race.

 

No athletes should enter buildings at the college or be on the train tracks behind the course.

NO TEAMS OR ATHLETES MAY INTERFERE WITH THE TRAINS OR THE TRAIN TRACKS!

 

There will be concessions available for purchase: Chick-Fil-A biscuits, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. 

Reebok meet shirts and other merchandise will be available for purchase.

 

Directions to Gainesville Community College - Gainesville, GA

Take I-85 North to I-985 North. Take Exit 16 (Oakwood exit). Exit left and go about 2/3 mile. On  the right, take the 2nd entrance to Gainesville College. The parking lot is on the left past the gym.
