Cross Country Meet Directions

 

Brookwood High School: From I-85 North: Exit South on Pleasant Hill Road for 4 miles to the Ronald Reagan Parkway. Get on the Parkway heading toward Snellville (South.) Exit at Webb Ginn House Road. Take a right from the exit ramp onto Webb Ginn House Road and go .25 miles to a four-way stop. The school building is on the left, parking is straight ahead, then left.

From Lawrenceville: Take Highway 124 toward Snellville (South) about 3.5 miles. Turn right onto Webb Ginn House Road. Webb Ginn House Road will end at Brookwood High School.  Parking is straight ahead at the four-way stop, then left in the parking lot.

From I-285/Stone Mountain: Exit I-285 East towards Athens. Go 15 miles to the main intersection in Snellville at Highway 78/124. Turn left (North) onto Highway 124 for 1 mile. Turn left onto Dogwood Road (Eastside Bank on left) and go 2 miles to the school on the left.  Parking is to the left at the four-way stop.

Clinton Nature Preserve: Take I-20 West to Exit 30 (Post Rd.).  Go south on Post Rd.  Take the first right (Ephesus Church Rd.).  Travel approximately 2-3 miles on Ephesus Church Rd.  Clinton Nature Preserve will be on the right.

Berry College: Take I-75 N to Rome-Canton Exit 290 (formerly exit 125)
Take left off exit, drive 2.5 mi., then road ends at a light
Turn left, then take an immediate right onto Highway 41 North (to reach Highway 411)
Drive 2.8 mi., then take Highway 411 South exit (on right)
Drive 17.3 mi., then take right at light onto East Rome Bypass, also called Rome Loop 1 (sign reads "to Highway 293" because you will later pass Highway 293)
Drive 8.4 mi., then take right at light onto Martha Berry Highway (U.S. Highway 27 North). (you will see Oak Hill and The Martha Berry Museum at that intersection)
Drive 0.7 mi., then take left into Berry College main entrance

Wesleyan High School: Take Pleasant Hill Rd. west.  Turn left on Old Norcross Rd.  Veer right on Simpson Circle.  Cross Buford Hwy then cross over the RR tracks.  Turn left onto S. Old Peachtree Rd.  Cross Peachtree Industrial Blvd. (you are now on Spalding Dr.).  Cross Medlock Bridge Rd. and Wesleyan School will be on the right.

Furman University: Take I-85N towards Greenville, SC.  As you approach Greenville, take I-185N.  Go approx. 1mile and exit at US Rt.25 north (White Horse Rd.).  Take Rt.25 north for approx. 10 miles and turn right onto Duncan Chapel Rd.  Go 1 mile and Furman will be on the left.

Note: With this route, there are no hotels along the way, from the point at which you exit onto I-185 on up to Furman.

Great American, Cary, NC: Take I-85N to Greensboro, NC where it merges with I-40E.  Follow I-40E towards Raleigh, NC.  Take the Cary Rt54 Exit (Exit 290) off of I-40. Turn right on top of the exit ramp (towards Cary). Turn left on SE Maynard Road. Take a left on Chatham Street and SAS Soccer Park is ½ mile on the right.

Gainesville College: Take Interstate 85 North to Interstate 985 to Exit 16 (Highway 53/Oakwood), turn left at the bottom of the ramp and get into the far right lane.  Turn right into the GC Campus at the third traffic light (Landrum Education Drive).

Collins Hill Park: Head north on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd. Turn right on Taylor Rd. and take it till it ends at Collins Hill Rd.  The park is straight ahead.

McIntosh Nature Preserve: From Atlanta, head west on I-20. Exit at Georgia Rt. 5 in Douglasville and go left (south) off of the ramp. Travel approximately 20-25 miles on Rt. 5 crossing Georgia Rt. 166 and U.S. Rt. 27/ Ga. Rt. 16 along the way.  The entrance to McIntosh Nature Preserve is 2-3 miles past U.S. Rt. 27 on the left.

Ashland Farms Horse Park: Travel Hwy 78 East through Loganville, out past Ga Hwy 20 to Ga Hwy 81.  Turn right on Ga Hwy 81 and travel about 8 miles to Walnut Grove.  Turn right onto Ga Hwy 138 and travel a few hundred yards.  Turn left just past driveway into farm service road (dirt).

Carrollton, GA: From Atlanta, take I-20 west past Six Flags to exit 24, Carrollton/Villa Rica (GA-61/GA-101).  Turn left at the end of the exit ramp toward Carrollton.  Travel to the Carrollton city limits.  Pass Ryan's Steak House on the right, immediately merge to the left lane.  Turn left on the GA-166 By-Pass.  Go 4 miles, pass under the US-27 bridge.  At the next light, turn right on Ben Scott Blvd.  The parking lot is on the right.

TROUP COUNTY PYNE ROAD PARK (LaGrange):

Travel south on I 85 to the first LaGrange exit, #18, Hwy 109. Go right onto Lafayette Pky/Hwy 109. Travel West on 109 all the Way to Pyne Rd Park. You will pass a round Catholic Church on the left when crossing Hwy 27/219. At this junction the road name will change from Lafayette Pky to Vernon Rd. After you pass the hospital on the left you will make a right turn onto Roanoke Rd. also called Hwy 109 (Burger King on the left). Look for Pyne Rd Park on the left. Do not turn onto Pyne Rd or Old Pyne Rd. Travel time from the exit off I 85 is 20 minutes.

Van Cortlandt Park, New York, NY: By Subway:  IRT #1 or #9 north to last stop, 242nd Street.  Walk north about 300 yards, park is on your right.  These trains can be accessed from Times Square and Penn Station.

River Green Complex, Duluth, GA

River Green Parkway is located off Peachtree Industrial Boulevard between Pleasant Hill and Abbotts Bridge (120).

 From I-85 South exit Sugarloaf Parkway . Turn right on sugarloaf. Sugarloaf dead-ends on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard . Turn left on to Peachtree Industrial Boulevard . Go several miles (one light past Abbotts Bridge ) and turn right at the light for River Green Parkway (Agco tractors is on the right corner). The Cross Country course is down on the right.

 From I-85 North exit Pleasant Hill Road . Turn left go several miles (past the New Duluth Hospital ) and turn right on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard . (There is a Kroger and McDonalds across the intersection). On Peachtree Industrial Boulevard , turn left at the second light ( River Green Parkway ). The Cross Country course is down on the right.

Georgia International Horse Park, Conyers, GA Take I-20 to Exit 82 (Hwy. 138), go north 4 miles. Take a right onto Centennial Olympic Pkwy., go 2 miles, and the course is on the right.
McAlpine Greenway, Charlotte, NC Take I-85 North toward Greenville . Take the BROOKSHIRE BLVD / NC-16 exit- EXIT 36- toward US-74 E / DOWNTOWN. Merge onto NC-16 S toward CHARLOTTE / ERICSSON STADIUM. Merge onto US-74 E via EXIT 2B on the LEFT toward NC-27 E / INDEPENDENCE BLVD. Turn RIGHT onto CONFERENCE DR. Turn LEFT onto MONROE RD.
Marist School, Dunwoody, GA From I-85 take I-285 West to exit # 29. Turn left onto Ashford-Dunwoody Road , away from Perimeter Mall. Marist is located approximately 1.0 mile inside I-285 on the right hand side.
Little Mulberry Park,
Auburn, GA

3855 Fence Rd. , Auburn , GA 30011 …30 min. from Brookwood.
Take GA-124/Scenic Highway toward Lawrenceville (4.5 miles)
In downtown Lawrenceville, turn RIGHT onto E. Crogan St./US-29/GA-8 (8.6 miles)
Turn LEFT onto GA-324/Hills Shop Rd. (2.5 miles)
Turn RIGHT onto Fence Rd. Park is on the LEFT
